Hello
Can someone tell me how to download ringtones to my sons Nokia 3510i. He
tried one website and texted the message and replied to the resulting text
to confirm. The money came off his balance but I do not know where the tone
is.
Thanks in anticipation

The ringtones are usually delivered via WAP, he should have received a text
containing a download link to obtain the purchased ringtone. Check the
phone's SMS inbox.

Thanks for the help but we are no further forward. We would need a step by
step guide. Any chance?

No probs Jake.
First of all is the phone configured for WAP-internet on your son's mobile
account either using GPRS or dial-up ? As purchased polyphonic ringtones are
delivered via this method. No WAP = no ringtones.
Second check the phone's SMS inbox.
From the 3510i manual.
-------
Reading the message later:
Press Menu, and select Messages, Text messages, and Inbox.
-------
In there (if they haven't been deleted) should be the texts from the
ringtone company detailing how to download the ringtone, plus a link, and
possibly a reference number.
If all else fails, do you know which web-site the ringtone was purchased
from ? Perhaps you could try ringing or eMailing them.
