    Arggghh !!

Can anybody please help with the following (although I'm about to start
    checking Google !)

A friend of mine has an BT/O2 PAYG SIM (not sure of specific tariff) but
originally supplied with an Ericcson A2618s. The latter has just packed
    up.

I have an new 3510i (from the O/CPW deal) that I have passed on to them.
It is unlocked and works with all my other SIMS with no problem - I can
receive and call with no problem.

The O2 SIM works OK in the 8210 and Samsung C100 I have to hand however
when in the 3510i will not make calls - phone comes back with "Call Not
Allowed". It receives calls OK when in the 3510i though.

Any suggestion as to whats causing this problem would be much
    appreciated.

    Thanks for any help.

I've just had the same problem with a Vodafone sim.It just would not
keep working in a 3310 I bought but would work in other phones to a
degree.I suspect the sim itself to be damaged or just tired as it's
    been in 5 phones :/
    PS
Changed over to a Virgin/Tmobile new sim and no problems

To follow up my own post the same happens with my Nokia 6100 here at
work. Logs on to network, receives call OK but
refuses to make calls with "Call Not Allowed".

O2 SIM works fine in a old Ericcson T10 too and as mentioned in original
message OK in a 8210 and a new Samsung C100.

Seems to be an issue with the DCT4 phones and the SIM !

    Any help appreciated.

Thanks - similar but not exactky the same I'm afraid. The O2 SIM works
fine in several phones but will not make calls in two DCT4 type Nokia
phobes (3510i and 6100). It will receive calls in these phones though.

...and to follow up my own post yet again - it will send texts OK from
    the 3510i (I assume too the 6100)

I hope somebody can help :-)

Did you have to train for a long time to be this stupid?

As the OP has already pointed out, his phone is already unlocked.

    Enjoy yet another abuse report.
