7250

just got a nokia 7250i nice phone but earpiece volume seems to be very quiet
have volume up full, last phone was 6100 and I had to turn volume down when
listening to calls, anybody had this problem

Yea, its annoying.

Mine started off ok. Had it quite a few months now, and the speaker
seems to have got quiter and quieter. Most of the time i have to put
it on speakerphone, so i can hear; which isnt really very private.

I went to phones4u, and they said it needed fixing.. I dont want to
have my phone sent away right now, so i just have to bear with..
grr..

i have had my 7250i for about 4 months, no problems so far

It is SW related, newer firmware has more quiet speaker.

Does that make it sound any better? I think the sound quality of the speaker
is pretty poor compared to a 6310 I used to have.

No your not alone, had earpiece replaced in mine and is quieter than used to
be, now in shop for second time due to locking up, rendered
useless..problems after problems....grrrr.
