I thought the Nokia 3588i (Sprint PCS) and the 3589i (Verizon) are basically the same except
for the installed software, etc.

Yet when I signed up today with both companies on a 14 day trial basis (to see which has
better RF at my home basement office after trying AT&T with no luck regarding signal), I
noticed that the display on the silver 3588i if much clearer and brighter (regardless of the
brightness settings). It just had a better color display.

Anyone have an idea what the deal may be here? BTW, the 3588i signal and connectivity was
better but I don't think that has anything to do with the display quality.
