Hi,
I cannot get my Nokia 6230 and my Palm T2 in sync with each other. The
pairing goes ok, but after the first connection it does fail.
Sometimes my Nokia asking me for a 16 (!) letter password, sometimes
there is just no connection.
The first try after pairing works ok, but that's it!
I have tried the Palm looking for the Nokia, and the Nokia looking for
the Palm, with same results: they find each other but the connection
only works one time.
There are NO specific Nokia 6230 drivers for the Palm. I use generic
or 6310i.
Anyone any solution (please?)
Willem.

Same problem with Tungsten T3. Keeps asking for 16 digit code!

Try just 1234 instead of 16 digits, let me know if it worked.

I got a little further.
When I pair the T2 and 6230 using Versamail and KEEP using it, it
works ok. Starting the SMS utility (Palm) asks for a 16 digit
password.
So I deleted the pairing in the 6230 and started the SMS utility. It
asked for a 16 digit password, I gave 16 "0", same on the T2 and now
it works with Versamail too.
Buttt, using the Palm SMS utility the phone says (translated)
"external sim modus" and the connection fails.
