loudness 6600

Hello there,
is there a possibility to increase the volume of my 6600.
Everything is on MAX volume, but still it is much more silend
then my previous 6210.
Is there a possibility to increase te volume with the pc suite or
is there any other program that allows to adjust some standard
features or configuration setup????

Please need help

Nokia indeed cocked up with the volume level on this phone. What I do with
my audio and video files and downloaded ringtones is increase the volume
level with a sound editing program. I only use wavs for my ringtones.

The sound can be boosted with the built-in sound recorder in WinXP
(Start>Aceesories>Entertainment). Just open the file and select "increase
volume by 25%" and resave. Every time you hit the increase volume button
the volume will increase by 25%. I generally do about 50-100%. Be warned
though, increase it too much and you'll distort it. All depends on the
quality of the original file.

You can also change the quality. I use PCM 22.050khz, 16 bit, mono and they
files play on my 6600. You may be able to go higher but if you go too high
the file won't play because the tiny processor in your phone can't keep up
with the data rate and process the information quickly enough.
