Hi group, I've been looking at purchasing SmartCalc Basic.

The most recent version is 2.28 I believe.
The cheapest I can find is £7.50 via PayPal.

Does anyone know of anywhere cheaper, before I purchase from here?

    TIA.

Do you require just a standalone unlock code generator?

What are you wanting to unlock?

    Hi again.

Yes, I guess a standalone generator would be my answer.
I've looked at the likes of SmartCalc Pro & SE but I can't justify the cost.

The benefits of this that I can see is that it does more than just unlock
Nokia, it does a few others as well.

It would only be for me to unlock friends & family phones without the use of
    cables.

    Thanks.

It all depends what phones you're wanting to unlock. Most of the free
calculators do all DCT3 and most DCT4 Nokias (excluding the new ASIC
models), and some do other brands as well, but none do SonyEricsson
unlocking by code. There's a downloadable calculator on the UselessInfo
site in my sig that should keep you going for a while.

The best free one I've seen to date is 'CyberGSM Code Calculator 5.4' at
    www.unlockme.co.uk
He also has a telephone service that can unlock 6230 (only one worth paying
for), though I am dubious as I don't know how it works.
Is it an operator or a automated phone call?

Also I have a 3410 5.42 that I upgraded and relocked, I use an O2 SIM in it.
Lock 1 keeps telling me that the code is wrong and adds 1 to the lock
counter. I was just having a play with the DCT3 calculator (viewing in
Rolis 1.9b). Does anyone know why it won't unlock, I'm not posting my IMEI
here LOL. Is 5.42 preventing it? I might downgrade it one day and see.

Incidentally using Rolis, you can relock an O2 (and any other) card to locks
    1, 2, 4 - try undoing that with a code LOL...
