"Sent" messages complaint on Nokia

I was using a 6600 for a while - apart from the fact it was too small for my
hand and the fonts on the screen were ugly, I quite liked it, especially the
fact that sms messages were transferred to a "Sent" folder after sending.

Changed to the 6230 which is supposed to be all bells & whistles (well,
sort of, anyway) and the $#%#@!! sent messages remain on the screen; being
absent minded sometimes I send the blasted things twice.

How do you guys & gals handle this problem?

you should have stuck with the 6600 and not downgraded!
