N6230: What format to upload mp3

Hi,

what is the best format (quality/size) of mp3's played on Nokia 6230 ?

Would for example 128 kbit mp3 be sufficient or will 160 kbit mp3 sound
bettter on it ?

If other format are recommended, which converter is the best ?

Generally 128kbps is considered good enough for most peoples ears.
You may notice some improvement using 160kbps, but of course you'll get
less music on the phone. Avoid transcoding existing MP3s however, because
the quality loss will be noticeable.

I'd say that on a phone, 64kb mono is good enough.

n6230 is stereo. so i would go for the 128 kbit
