    hi ,
    i know it isn't possible to connect two 7210 via irda
    to send tones or images ...
    is it true ?
    does exist an hidden way to achieve this goal ?
    i mean trought an application you install in the phone ???
    i've the tools for develop app for this phone but i wonder
    if it's possibile from a ajva app to show the content of the
    phone and then send something to another phone ...
    Is it a dream ???'

    Nope. Forget it.
    Series 40 interface doesn't allow JAVA to interact with the phone in this
    way, IIRC.

    This idea has been discussed with various phones before over the years, but
    the functionality isn't included in the firmware. Historically, only things
    like business cards can be transferred (and due to the differing formats of
    these, even they don't work all the time).

    You can of course transfer between phones with PC software - in MobiMB (see
    my site below) you can drag files directly from one phone to another.
