Hi all!
How do I set my 6260 to receive files on the mmc card, and not on the
internal memory without having to transfer the files afterwards?
Best regards,

How do you usually transfer your files ?
When using browser from my PC or Nokia installer software I can choose between
installing on phone own memory or on the rs-mmc card.
Thus I don't have to transfert anything aftwerwards.
Hope this helps

My computer's a Macintosh (an iBook) and the Nokia isn't fully
recognized by the system. I can send a file, receive from the computer
and so on, but cant actually browse from the computer. I can only send
files one by one, without realy knowing where they end up.
The phone reacts by saying that I have received a message.

Can you get a MMC reader/writer for the mac?
Double effort, but you can move from the phone to the MMC then remove MMC
then move to mac, then put stuff to MMC then put card back into phone then
move from MMC to phone mem. And all quicker than using bluetooth anyway,
but not as good as a cable.

Any will do I presume. I guess that's my only way out anyway.
BTW, anybody knows if there's something to do about the mono mp3
playback on the phone? (use another software than realplayer i.e.)?

OK I bought one today, and damn it, I must be cursed :-) there is a
SD-MMC card slot, but the card desnt seem to fit, If I slip it in,
there's no way to take it out (or with a tiny plier) and it doesn't show
"read" on it. Are the MMCs different on Nokia phones?

No - not different, but quite a few MMC will NOT be recognised by Nokia
phones.
Does the card reader read both cards on your Mac?

Pushing it making it VERY difficult for me to grab itr back out, it did
mount on my mac with no other problem (friver request and so on). So the
cards are OK on the Mac, just the driver that seem to be MMC, and the
Nokia got RS (reduced?) MMC. They seem to be shorter, making them a
b***h th take out after data transfer... Go figure...

There's an adapter for RS MMC that makes them MMC size for data transfer in
a reader/writer, should have come with the MMC package?

No, it wasnt in the Nokia box unfortunatly...
There's an offer at the moment here in France where you can get a 64Mb
MMC card for 5¤, a bluetooth headset for 10, and the Car kit CK7W for
80. I'm gonna go for the bluetooth and card so maybe there's going to be
an adapter there...
Anybody knows this car thing? Is it complicated to install yourself or
does one HAS to have professionnals do the installation?

So.. why is that bad? I often transfer files and applications that way
because it's just easier; like click and 'send to.. bluetooth'. Yes it ends
up as a message; just open it up and save it wherever you like it.

Cause it's the ONLY way I can do stuff. I should be able (like on SE) to
connect to the phone and browse the different folders, draf and drop
stuff in or out of them and so forth.
