No, your best and safest option would be to get it done at a Nokia Service
Centre which is Free under warranty.

Not a chance with the DKU-5.

Depends if you want the phone to work afterwards or not. If you're not
fussed, you could buy a "China" flasher for about £30, but you've got about
a 90% chance of it borking the phone. To do the job right you need a decent
flashing solution - Twister, JAF, Griffin or Prodigy would be the sensible
solutions, but they don't come cheap (have a look at the GSM-Solutions site
in my sig). JAF & Prodigy are the cheapest, and Twister is the most
flexible. If all you want to work on is Nokia, then JAF would be your best
bet, but probably overkill if all you plan on doing is working on the one
    phone.

i suppose then it would be cheaper to pay someone with the gear to do the
phone but who ? and what would it cost though.

It probably would be cheaper if it's just the one phone you want doing. We
can do it (ThePhoneLocker link in my sig), or there are plenty of other
    reputable unlockers/flashers around.
