Hi folks,
i have the nokia 6360 - the flip thingy - and i wondered does anyone know if
it's supposed to be tri/quad band or not?
i used motorola v620 last year when i visited family in USA but this year i
upgraded and chose the 6360. suddenly i couldn't make any calls once i
landed in US soil. my carriers - o2 - say that i should be able to make
calls though.
any ideas?
thanks.
UK.

Do you mean 6260?
This phone is 900/1800/1900.
Did you have roaming enabled with your provider? (Silly question?)
The 6360 is available in USA only and is not a flip phone. "Candy bar"
format.
Perhaps the area where you were was using GSM800, which Nokia don't yet
support (no Nokia quad band at present).
