DKU-5 or CA-42

Hi

I'm thinkning about buying a datacable for my 5140

There seems to be 2 types, the DKU-5 and the CA-42. Does anyone know what
the difference between these two? And which I could buy?
The DKU-5 is about 60? and the CA-42 is about 40?.

From reading on the Nokia website,
http://www.nokia.com.au/nokia/0,8764,58670,00.html the DKU-5 is the
only option for the Nokia 5140. The CA-42 is not mentioned for the 5140
at all.

It appears the CA-42 is for newer Nokia phone's only.

it is listed as compatible here:

i think the difference between dku-5 and ca-42 is just the colour, i
may be wrong though.

Disclaimer: I'm ignorant of how the two cables really work and am
blindly repeating what I just read, which may very well be incorrect.

That said, http://pricerunner.mobileplace.co.uk/product/824 says: "Whats
the difference between the DKU-5 and CA-42? The CA-42 is a true USB
cable and not like the DKU-5 with a virtual COM-port built on a usb
plugin, however both cables allow exactly the same functionality. This
cable replaces the old nokia dku-5 cable, which is no longer manufactured"

Newer phones? 5140 is not more than 2-3 month old... anyways... found some
compatibility pages on nokia.com and it seems fine, so I've ordered one...
just hope that it works....

if you ordered a copy cable and not an original nokia one, you could face
some driver troubles

Thanks, but I always buy original stuff when it comes to electronics. I've
had some bad experince in the past...
