I have a nice little program on my PC that uses land line caller ID from my
phone company to block calls after one ring using the software and my caller
    ID capable modem.

It even sends a wav. message that my line has been disconnected or doesn't
receive incoming calls from telemarketers thru the voice feature.

I've searched the web high and low for months and I am good at it. Hacking
sites, Nokia or for that matter other provider sites, all newsgroups thru
    Google, Nokia software sites.

Does anyone know why it seems impossible for a software program to be
manufactured that allows blocking of [speclfic] incoming calls?

Think of how much money a program like this could make at say 10 bucks a
pop! A fortune could be made. I think it would be the biggest thing since
caller ID. Just think about it. It would provide a way to stop pesky
telemarketers or people calling your new mobile phone number looking for the
former user to find out why that person never payed their bill they owed.

I'm in the US, have a 3595, and I have one jerk that keeps calling my mobile
number. It's [my number] a business number. It must not change. Please
someone out there tell my there is a caller ID blocking program available,
in the works, or why it can't be done.

    Thanks
    Ed from Texas.
