help unlocking 6230i on O2

Hi!!
I have just bought a 6230i on O2 PAYG and want to unlock it. I have tried a
code generator calculator which generates the unlock code when you enter the
imie number but when i enter the code nothing happens. I have previously
used this calculator to unlock a 7250i, 6610i, and a 3510i with out any
problem. I have tried all the 7 codes but nothing happens when i finish
entering the code. Is there any other way this can be unlocked. Pleese help
me!!!!

I have just unlocked one tonight. You have to put in a SIM that the phone
will not work with. Then it will ask you for a number. That is when you
enter the code. The 6230 is not like a lot of the older Nokia models where
you had to enter the code with no SIM present.

I forgot to say that you probably only need to open lock 7. I did.
