What is the difference between DKU-2 and CA-53. My dealer sold me a
DKU-2 but Nokia's web says that's a odl cable (not sold anymore) and
that the new one is CA-52 (and that the last one supports USB 2.0).

Does this meen that DKU-2 does NOT support USB2 and is slower :-(

(if that is so, then I'll have a very serious talk with my dealer)

    Hello!

Yes, CA-53 has official USB 2.0 support and it works faster than DKU-2.
We've tested it in our labs.

By the way, CA-53 works in Oxygen Phone Manager II for Symbian OS phones
    ( http://www.opm-2.com/symbian/ ) and Oxygen Phone Manager II (
    http://www.opm-2.com/opm2/ ) and Oxygen Express (
http://www.oxygen-express.com/ ) as well. Just check 'DKU-2' or
'DKU-2/CA-53' option and our program will pick the phone up.

If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us (

Do you have the test speeds for Nokia 6230i (so I have something to
tell my dealer). I'm a bit angry with him for selling a old cable.

    Hello!

Unfortunately, we cannot provide precise values right now, but CA-53 seems
to be twice more faster than DKU-2.

PS: you'd better contact Nokia customer support for precise speed values. It
would be more 'efficient', as we aren't DKU-2 or CA-53 cable manufacturer,
    while Nokia is.

I know have a CA-53, but it still shows up on a USB 1.1 hub (and not
on the USB 2.0 hub, that still show 6 ports free). Why is that?

(I have 6 USB ports, divided into 2x3 USB 1.1, but all 6 has 2.0 and
all ports then show up on one USB 2.0 HUB, must be some tech thing)

Whould it show up on the USB 2.0 HUB, or is the 6230i only USB 1.1?

(other USB 2.0 devices show up on the 2.0 HUB when I plug them in)

    Hello!

It seems, that Nokia 6230i itself doesn't support USB 2.0 support, so there
shouldn't be any difference between DKU-2 and CA-53 connection. If it is so,
then there shouldn't be any difference between DKU-2 and CA-53 connection
    for Nokia 6230i.
