Nokia 6230 Stuck in Headset Profile

Hi,

The phone was working fine. Somehow, it changed the profile to
"headset" and now I can't listen to incoming/outgoing calls without
headset or put it on speaker. I tried changing the profile back to
"normal" but still headset logo show up on the main screen. Tried
shutting down the phone, taking the battery out, master reset but
nothing works.

Any solution or suggestion.......cingular says that there is something
wrong with the phone itself. Just curious, would putting a new
firmware help? If yes, then where do i find the latest firmware and how
do it install it onto the phone.

I'm quite sure you have some dirt or most likely, liquid damge, near the
bottom connector of the phone. Open it up and try to clean it, or take it to
your nearest service center.
