Do not know in which country you reside, but in the USA Nokia will not
provide any soft- nor hardware for the 6260 because they do not sell it.
In another country you can probably get it repaired, but if the warrantee
it out, it may be expensive -- such as if replacing the top piece is
required.
Obviously it turns on and off since you can receive phone calls, which
presumably is related to the bottom half -- can you also call out? When
you boot up, do you hear the Nokia sounds that accompanies the handshake?
Can you input and have your security code accepted? When you put it
on charge, is the charging triangle on the top right visible?

I have seen this problem before, tried replacing the lcd module and
upgraded the firmware but none of these fixes the fault, in the end i
sent the handset to nokia who exchanged the unit so im still none the
wiser why it is happening.
