Nokia 6233 screen light going off to soon

Hi

I have a 6233 when I place the phone in the car kit the light goes off, I
like to see the phone lit up but can not find out how to leave it on,

Help please

I've got a 6233 but no car kit so my answer is a bit speculative: once the
phone has been on the cradle once you should find that looking at
Settings/Enhancements on the phone will reveal a car kit related item.
Here you should find options to keep the display permanently on while the
phone is in the cradle. This works on older phones; I can't see why Nokia
would change it.
