    Hi

I've tried to send sms messages via pc's keyboard. I'm using Nokia 6600 and
a bluetooth connection. The problem is that i can't send any messages. When
I try to make bluetooth serial port connection between my computer and
mobilephone, first the Widcomm softare said that port is com5, but next it
said that the current port is com4. What is the right port?
So, i tried to setup Nokia modem options my computer. The setup process
finished okay, but when I try to add Nokia 6600 modem in the modems list,
Windows's add hardware wizard says that only port which I can to use is
com1. Well, next to I try to send messages with the only modem which uses
com5, the bluetooth fax modem. Then the sms sender said that it can't
    connect to the modem.
.... I don't know, what i can mace for next, anyone know in here What i can
    do?

Is it true that Oxygen phone manager works only with Microsoft's bluetooth
drivers? Ms's drivers doesn't work with my bt dongle.

Get shot of it mate! OPM is the crappiest, buggiest piece of software
after Windows! Nokia PC Suite will do the job with much less hastle!

Have you disabled all types of connection in Nokia Connection Manager of
Nokia PC Suite before establishing connection with Oxygen Phone Manager for
    Symbian OS phones?

Re: Sending sms messages via pc's keyboard

    Hello!

If you are using Widcomm or BlueSoleil bluetooth drivers, you should start
bluetooth exchange from OPMAgent before running the main program. If you are
using Microsoft, AVM BlueFritz! or Extended Systems bluetooth drivers, you
should establish bluetooth connection after running the main program.

In case of bluetooth connection, our software requires local virtual COM
port for incoming bluetooth connections to be created on your PC. This port
is set up automatically in Widcomm, BlueSoleil, Extended Systems and AVM
BlueFritz! stack. If you are using Microsoft Bluetooth drivers, virtual
serial port for incoming connections is created for Series 60 First Edition
and 6600 model phones only. If you are using one of later phones, you should
just add one virtual COM port on 'COM ports' tab (just press 'Add' button
    and choose 'Incoming' direction).

If you've encountered any connection problems, feel free to contact our
    customer support service at http://www.oxygensoftware.com/en/support/

Re: Sending sms messages via pc's keyboard

Well folks! If the above post doesn't tell you what a piece of crap OPM
is, then there is no hope! All this, just to connect to your phone, I
don't think so! Sounds like Oxygen should rename themselves
'Microsoft'. "No sir, that's not a bug, it's a feature."

I've got a number of friends using Nokia PC Suite with this phone &
they don't have any problems at all. The Bluetooth software (WIDCOMM in
most cases) starts with Windows and PC Suite just integrates
    seamlessly.

Download the latest version & give it a go, it's gotta be better than
    Mr Buggy's software!
