My home is in a weak signal area, but I have been able to use my 6340i gait
phone to make most of my long distance calls using my free time in my AT&T
plan. I have heard the Nokia telephones work better in low signal areas. Is
this still true? My present 6340i is starting to give me some keyboard
problems after about three years of use. I have been told AT&T will
introduce some new Nokia phones this summer. From what I understand, the
Nokia 6085 is one of the new ones I may be interested it. I am not looking
for many bells and whistles. I just want a reliable phone that works in weak
areas. It would be nice to have a half way decent camera with it, but not a
real necessity. Any comments, especially about what phones work best in weak
areas, will be appreciated. Charles Ranheim.

I was okay with my Motorola v551. I upgraded to a Motorola V3xx, which was
just not good enough around here. Now I have a pair of Nokia 6126,
currently free from Cingular, and I am quite happy with them. I've heard
good reports about the Motorola Krzr, which is expensive from cingular, and
around $80 at Walmart or Best Buy.
