Nokia have sent a message saying new firmware is available for my N9.
When I connect to them this is the case, both the OS and firmware.
I took a back up anyway, but when I try and install it it disconnects the
phone on USB and then says it can not reconnect.
In the dialog it says you can ignore connect / disconnect messages, but it
appears not.
Immediately after exit it reconnects again.

Re: Dozy problem with firmware upgrade.
Some progress.
Plugging in my old N79 gets the PC suite to upgrade.
Plug in the N8 and it downloads 278Mb of new version, backs everything up
and then
ERROR 12017.
Rerun results in cursory back up and download (already done) and same
result.
Ideas?

Re: Dozy problem with firmware upgrade.
Bit of an engineers' reset and it then downloaded OK - not "OVI" any more,
but still pretty sloppy...
