Nokia 9290 - speakerphone question.

Hello all!

I have a Nokia 9292 Communicator (v. 5.70 OS) and had a question about the speakerphone
usage: does the unit need to be "opened" (such that the color LCD display is visible) in
order for the speakerphone to be activated and working? It'd be convenient for me to have
the phone "closed" when using the speakerphone, but that doesn't seem to work as far as I
can tell.

Yes, it needs to be opened. The speaker you're using is on the "inside".
