    This phone was as AT&T Wireless phone. I unlocked it and tested with
    the sim from my T-Mobile 6610. Seems to work fine and I was able to
    make calls with it. My question is concerning the display. It still
    shows the "Welcome to mlife " display and the "mMode" menu button at
    the bottom. For the network it shows "TMO" at the top, for T-Mobile I
    assume. Is this normal since it was an AT&T phone? Can the main
    screen be changed to show something else? TIA

    All of this info is stored on an unwriteable part of your phone's memory.
    These 'customisations' can only be removed by a Nokia service centre.
