Hi All,

Hope that this question ain't already been asked in a previous post (similar
to the question "anyone know where I can get free ringtones?")

What I'm looking for is a list of applications that may be downloaded to a
Nokia 6100. I have just heard that you may be able to download language
translators etc..... Thought you could only use it for games!!!

If so, anyone know any good sites to get different applications from,
preferably free?

Hi Neil.

I posted the following a few weeks ago. That thread was about
re-installing the java apps that come with the 6310i, but the theory
is the same for other handsets. It certainly worked with both of mine
(6310i and 7250), so the 6100 should be there too. The site is part
of Nokia.com

Connect your phone to http://www.softwaremarket.nokia.com/wap

This opens a page "Personalise your Nokia 6310i". The apps you can
d/l free to your phone are then listed below - just select the one(s)
you want and confirm to d/l and install. The list for the 6310i is:-

Converter
World Clock
Racket Game
World Clock (Asian Version)
Miki's World 1
Leaderboard

You can use the same address for other Nokia java-compatible phones -
the site will identify your model of handset automatically and offer
the appropriate download(s).

I'd be interested in any other decent free Java apps if anyone has
links. All I can find anywhere else are games.
