connecting 6610 to pc

i have an ir port on my laptop. tested it - works fine. phone ir port works
fine.. but i cant make them talk to eachother!!! if i send a business card
from my phone to pc - it says its recieving, but wont take the file..
is there something i have to do to get them to talk to eachother? ive
enabled ir on phone and pc - point them at eachother but nothing happens

you need to use the nokia software (available from nokia.com, ur phone's
download section) to modify/read stuff from ur phone.
