Can someone tell me how to configure the T-Mobile Nokia 6610 and windows
98SE so that I am able to dial to my ISP (Earthlink) for internet access
(CSD ?) ? I have laptop with IR port and also have data cable (DKU-5).

    Thank you very much

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the story is that with the
current firmware on the 6610 you cannot access CSD. It's a known bug
in the firmware. The only alternative is to find somewhere to get it
flashed with "generic" firmware not specific to T-Mobile. I don't
know if you could do that through Nokia USA but you probably could do
that through an independent dealer such as www.gsmphonesource.com for
    a fee.

Thank you for your response. I switched from Motorola P280 to Nokia 6610 ...
Now I have to switch back to P280 to use CSD :-(

Perhaps the issue has been solved- I bought my wife a 6610 from T-Mo in
July and tried connecting my Pocket PC to my ISP on it via IR for the first
time today, and it worked flawlessly. This was w/CSD, not GPRS.
