I'm using a two year old 5165 on AT&T Wireless. About 20% of the time,
the phone does dead on connect. I hear a ring & the other person hears
the ring, but then it turns itself off.
Anyone else have the problem? Suggestions for solution?
Thanks
Chuck

The battery is loose. That is a common problem with the 5100/6100 series
phones. Add a folded up dollar (into fourths) and stick it under the
battery. You could also use a business card folded in half if you like. It
should keep the battery on better so the phone won't turn itself off.

Variation would be to tape up the battery on the exterior with masking tape
if you dont mind the look...but the wedging a piece of card between phone
and battery idea works great.
