    Hi,

Is there anyway of finding out when a Nokia product is due to go end of
life. I am particularly interested in when the 6310i will be discontinued
    in the UK.

    Thanks,

    Jon.

Nokia probably won't take the 6310i out till the end of next year at the
earliest as the phone in it's self is Nokias best monochrome phone. What I
mean is apart from the 6310 (pre 6310i) which had a design flaw and was
taken of the shelfs 2/3 months after release. The 6310i has been and still
is Nokia's most stabliest and problem free (less then 10 phones per 1000
going faulty) phone and I think a lot of people will back me on that.

    Re: Nokia End of Life

    hi!

could please expand on that subject about a design flaw
    in the 6310, please?
i've been using one for 1½ year now heavily as a
    datacom-device with my laptop
and have not seen any flaws at all?

    cheers,

    asta

    Re: Nokia End of Life

if you read my post I said and meant the 6310 not 6310i and as for flaw's
nokia didn't release any details about why they recalled the 6310's as the
6310 only had about a 2 to 3 month shelf life in the UK
