Why is Nokia Phone Suite not compatible with any external IRDA USB
adapter...at least it is not according to the service rep.

Not true. When I had an 8390 I found a cheapo external USB/iRDA adapter (I
think it was a Belkin) that synced just fine. I wish I could find it to tell
you which one I got that worked. Hey, if you find a way to get bluetooth to
work with an NGage while you are looking for a solution to your problem,
please, feel free to let me know.
