Nokia 3510i with Virgin mobile

As a new mobile user can someone advise me about the following.
I have a Nokia 3510i with Virgin mobile.
Is the number of rings or time before voicemail picks up a call adjustable?
If so, is it a phone function or a network function and how can I alter the
setting.

not sure about the 3510i exactly but on other nokias I've had, if you go to
the call divert settings, then select "divert if not answered", then it
gives you the time before the call is diverted to voice mail...20,25,30
seconds etc.

hi ya first press the menu then 6 for settings
then press select go to
2 for call settings
then 1 for call divert
then go to 5 for divert I not available
then activate this will give you the option of to other number ,
dial it in then it will ask you how long in seconds perss how long you want

Seems to depend on your operator. I had this function in the very first
hours I logged my 3310 with my operator's SIM (the phone was previously used
with an Orange sim), then a lot of setting possibilities disappeared after a
while - perhaps after my phone made some PLUs or over the air operations.
