No- what really makes Sprint look good is your inability to answer questions
asked of you- shows everyone that you are afraid to answer questions that
might prove your whole little hissy fit wrong.

Push-to-Talk (Direct Connect) is useful in some industries. Nextel has
a huge following in the construction trades, for example.
My father's salesreps like the ability to press a button and annoy him
instantly, too

Interesting that you consider this abusive, considering the post that=20
started this thread, and that you did it.
Hypocrisy from you, Phill, as usual.

Hey Scott-
As long as you're writing every department of SprintPCS, also send them some of
Vargas posts where he totally embarresses SprintPCS.

When you're writing to SprintPCS make sure you tell them about

Scott, you ought to work for Fox Cable News,
you want to be as fair and ballanced as they are.

I didn't write every department (which you would know if you had a clue).
And until you can show perfection with your own posts, I wouldn't be
throwing stones at others.

So, some kind of walkie-talkie feature?
Sounds ANNOYING to me.

No more annoying than a cell phone in the hands of an idiot.

I was a little surprised to see you ask in the first place, but I've come
to realize that not everyone is as deep into cellular trivia as many of the
people who populate the alt.cellular newsgroups. Yes, exactly. Nextel is a
two-way radio provider that happens to do cellular. (Ok, that is a GROSS
oversimplification, but essentially, they focus much more heavily on their
Direct Connect product than on the cellular side of their service. DC is
their bread and butter.)
> Sounds ANNOYING to me.
Been said about Nextel for years, is being said about Verizon now that they
have Push-to-Talk, and most certainly will be said about Sprint when *they*
launch PTT. The big annoyance is people who can't figure out that their
Nextel or Verizon PTT phones DON'T HAVE TO BE ON SPEAKERPHONE TO TAKE CALLS...

Interesting. You consider insulting other posters to be a bad
reflection on the one doing the insulting. Now you're insulting me.
You're nothing if not consistent, hypocrite.

He's more than that, Rob- he's factless, whiney, unable to back up his silly
claims and incapable of answering questions.
