I must have a Bluetooth phone, and Sprint
doesn't have one. My contract is long over, and
my phone (Samsung i330 PalmPhone) is a brand new
replacement by Sprint. I could sell that
phone+extras ($300 used?) and move on...
Suppose I approach one of the GSM carriers
offering the Sony/Ericsson Bluetooth-capable
phones. How close can I get to my Sprint deal:
1,300 anytime, unlimited N&W, 8PM, $50? I'm sure
that 6 years of perfect/automatic payment
helped, and I'd be a newbie with another
carrier.

Not likely to beat those minutes/price. Maybe SprintPCS will have something
with or adaptible to Bluetooth in a few months? With the Samsung i330 having
just been discontinued, its eBay used price will likely remain constant for a
while.

You aren't going to get Sprint pricing on AT&T. They don't sell on
price, and they never have. T-Mobile might be a better bet.

T-Mobile has Get More Plus for $59 which is as close as you are going to get
and it is not as good a plan. If you don't need national, T-Mobile has a
great regional plan in that price range. T-Mobile picks up roaming on their
national plan, but with their smaller footprint, I'm not sure you are
ahead.

Re: Will TMobile or AT&T match Sprint?
All of Verizon's plans on their web site are available until November 22.
Presumably Nov 23 new and better plans will appear.
Stay tuned. The price wars will just be beginning on November 24 with Number
Portability. Come Jan 1 after a month of portability, some carriers may really
offer deals in order to maintain market share, or go for a knockout blow.

They should as there is not much going for them these days now that GSM
implementation has started and it has NOT gone smoothly at all. I hope
Justin is doing well.

Funny, I don't recall asking Justin a question. I simply sent my
condolences.

Takes a bizarrely large ego to try to speak for everyone that has, does or will
read anything in alt.cellular.sprintpcs.

Obviously, you should know Phillipe, what with those 26 or so different ID's
or yours ... and your hatred towards SPCS ...! And bizarre? Again ... you
are at the top of that ladder as well ...

Currenlty the only GSM carrier with an early n/w time frame is
Cingular with their 7-4-7 plan. For 7 $ you can change your night
time minutes to 7pm. TMobile has a 3 day weekend, but that plan takes
away unlimited nights (You can add them back for some fee though).
Blue tooth is great, but unless you have some specific need for GSM or
are having poor service with Sprint, why change?

Re: Will TMobile or AT&T match Sprint?
OK Smith, Chief SprintPCS apologist, you owe me an apology for your questioning
me yesterday on the charges SprintPCS may apply if one uses their Vision phone
as a modem. Even Vargas agreed with me that it may happen, and has happened as
I posted from a search on Google.

I don't owe you diddley Phillipe ... All I did was question the charges.
You want "An apology"? ... What a laugh, considering what you've done in
this newsgroup, with your 26+ IDs to get around kill filters. ROTFLOL that
Phillipe wants an apology ...

No you leading Sprint apologist who is not happy unless he is insulting
someone.
You said I knowingly posted incorrect information when I saiud a Vision
customer got charged 39 cents. Then Vargas corrected you.
What a loser you are.
