Circuit City warranty question

Hi...I bought a kyocera fone about 2 years ago from Circuit City,
along with a $60, 3 year warranty. I have since used this warranty to
upgrade my fone twice, most recently to a Sanyo 6200. I really like
this fone, but it seems to be dying after a year and a half of
constant use and falling out of my lap when I get out of the car.
Anyways, I recently went down to CC for something else, and noticed
that they're no longer carrying Sprint fones. It was pretty busy, so
I didn't want to wait around to ask questions. So, I would like to
know if anyone has gotten their money back from a fone that quit
working (under warranty) since they've stopped carrying SPCS. TIA for
any info.

In the area that I live (Virginia Beach), Best Buy is now an exclusive
dealer for Sprint having dropped SunCom and TMobile whereas Circuit City is
now an exclusive Verizon dealer having dropped Sprint and Suncom. Not sure
if this is a nationwide push by the big box electronic retailers to simplify
their operations or not.

Let your fingers do the walking and call Circuit City.

Call (888) 333-2333. If Circuit City has any Sprint PCS phones left in
their inventory, I believe they will offer you one. If not, then they will
send you a check. That is my understanding of the new City Advantage policy
regarding Sprint, AT&T, and Cingular phones.

I called (888) 333-2333. My Sanyo 4900 was going bad after a year,
they replaced it with a Sanyo 5300. I noticed it came from Lockline
which I though was the Insurance SprintPCS uses.
