I have no where else to go so I thought I would get a response from one of
you gurus. SPCS says they do not support connection Manager for data links
to use your cell phone as a modem. Is this just a ploy to make me buy a PC
card and pay for another phone charge? Seems like it to me. I work on the
road and use this setup on a regular basis and it works great except I can
not download it from my present computer to the new on, it loses some files
for some reason and I need a good copy of this program. I can't seem to get
a good answer or solution to my problem no where except that it is no longer
supported. I have been using sprint of 7 years now and have grown use to
there abuse but this is getting me mad. Please help, anyone!!!!!

Hmmm, if you already have the USB cable to connect the phone and your
laptop, you shouldn't need the software. Just get the drivers for your
phone, install them, then set up a new dial up, putting in #777 as the
telephone number to call in, and leave your user name and password fields
blank.

Re: ????what's up with the data link USB software????
basically the way I understand it is this (according to sprint rep)
if you already HAD it you can keep it (IE I connect my 6400 to my laptop to
get on the internet)
but new users can not and will get shut down if they do.
if you have been using it you should be ok. I use futuredial's cable and
software.
