quest about rebates - if u're around rob u may know

I just picked up a RL2500 and a VM4500... the 4500 is the absolute clearest,
highest signal holding, all around kick ass phone that I've ever seen (not
counting my Treo 600 but it's in a different class).

I just replaced two of my add a phones on my account with these two phones,
but was just looking at the website about the rebates offered on the 2500 on
a new line of service. I know an add a phone qualifies for a new line of
service, but I have 3 lines now and don't qualify for any more they say
right now. Since I don't care about the phone numbers on the two add a
phones, could I have cancelled the add a phones then added two add a phones
with these two phones with new numbers and be elgible for the rebates? The
website doesn't show a rebate for the 4500 but they advertised it in the
local store.

You should be all set. Just make sure that the number's you're canceling
aren't still under contract. I've done this in the past with no problem.
The rebates are keyed to the phone number, so I don't see an issue.

What Eric said, basically. If you're willing to lose the=20
old numbers, you're free to cancel them out, and then sign=20
up whole new phone numbers with us, and get the instant=20
rebates on those new subscriptions.

I *don't* speak for them.

Although now new Add-a-phones require an Advantage Agreement.
Personally I do not care. I expect to have Sprint PCS service for the
next 20 years.

Well... they don't *require* them. You can accept the $10/month premium=20
and stay month-to-month
