I have to say that I am very happy with Sprint.... so what if CS is
slower the signal is a lot stronger, no dropped calls in my area and
if I need answers I just email Sprint and within 24 hours I have an
answer

Out of curiosity, what city do you live near, where the service is
better than Verizon? The same is true in my area as well.
So, do you still use verizon.net for email?

Re: switched from verizon to sprint
I agree. My company supplies Verizon phones at no cost to the employee. I
choose to use Sprint PCS on my own dime because the service is superior
hands down. Washington DC/Baltimore area.

YMMV, we have both SPCS and Verizon at my house and find them to be
about the same. There are a couple coverage issues with Verizon, but
considering that the terrain around my house is extremely hilly and hard
to cover, and considering that most of my VZW coverage issues have disappeared
within a couple months of me reporting them, I'm not worrying about it. In
most of the Victor Valley both Sprint and Verizon work just fine.

In article <[email protected]>, [email protected]
says...

Hmmm. I'm also in NYC and I am about to do the opposite. I have sprint
and I am waiting for my Verizon phone to arrive and port my number over.
In NYC sprint coverage is not as good as Verizon. In the two places where
I spend most of my time, home and work, sprint service sucks. In my apt,
sprint gets no signal. Verizon works well in both places. I also find
lots of dead spots with Sprint. The interesting part is that outside of
NYC, Sprint has worked really well for me.
