Any prefs for the 8100 iver the V1000? Looks like I can have a USB data
cable hookup with the Sanyo. Is it very usable?

I use my 8100 with USB when my 2 channel ISDN goes down. Speed varies
alot, depending on signal strength - but I'm over 4 miles from the
tower.

I use this software and cable for my 8100.

Most I keep my phone book up to date but you could download and upload
ringers and photos, which I have done also. The only thing I don't like
about is that you have to turn the phone off after each upload or download
and then turn it back on again. Other than that it works great.

And there they say:
*Not all phones support ALL DataPilot features. Check our phone support
section to see what DataPilot features your mobile phone supports.
ie. No calendar support for any Sanyo phone.
