    Hi:

I'm currently on the Wide-Area Plan in the SF region. I'm interested in a
"buy-up" Roaming plan for occasional travel to the east coast.

Sprint used to have an Add-on Roaming plan you can purchase for $10/month
for a some roaming minutes -- is that still available?

    Thanks-

Yup. Those stackable bundles don't include LD when roaming, but=20
    they're still available.

Those Off Network Bundles were available for the standard plans,
but I don't know if they are available for the Area Wide plans. If they
are they likely add just what they are titled, Off Network roaming.
Usage on the Sprint PCS network, but out of your Area Wide area, may
still be charged the $.5 per min.

So you're saying that outside one's Wide Area, it could cost more to stay
on Sprint than to roam off Sprint ? Dat dawg dont hunt...

I am planning on ordering the $100, 2000 anytime plan and add the $5 roaming
    option ("free & clear America").
In this situation would I be paying LD when roaming??

    Thanks,

Now why would you say this? LD is included in the F&CA option.

what am I missing here--can't he just add the F&CA $5.00 option at his
whim, and cancel as well---mine includes local and long distance; and
never had a problem--for $5 it's a bargain, especially if you are in
or travel trhu a fringe area.

That plan was only for SprintPCS Coeporate covered areas, not usually
available in parts of the country covered by Sprint's affiliates.

Phillipe, you are such an idiot. The OP said that his F&CA option cost was
$5, which is the corporate area option cost ... It is available in SPCS
affiliate areas. It's just not as liberal with the amount of minutes one can
    use roaming ...

Like I said, I did not know if they are available. They likely
are not. If I remember correctly they were $10 for 50 minutes, so that
is 20 cents per minute, and did not include long distance fees.

How about quoting the whole message ?? That would show a proper answer
in context, and you'd rather pick a fight?
