I currently have a Sanyo 8100 but really don't like it. I'm thinking of
buying an RL2000. Does anyone have any experience with it? I would really
like to know how good the phone is. I checked here before I bought the 8100
and it got great reviews but I just don't like it.

Try it out at a store, being a "Candy Bar" form phone, the screen is
always exposed and more vulnerable to problems, none of which are likely
to be covered under warranty, but rather ascribed as "User Abuse".
Some folks prefer the heft and feel of a "candy bar" phone.

Got it. Purchased it since the day it came out. Love it. No problems what so
ever with it.
Great reception no matter where I go.

Re: Sanyo RL2000?
Thanks. I'm going to the store tomorrow and check it out. I used to have the
Samsung N400 and loved it except it dropped calls and locked up a lot. I
usually like the flip phones but for some reason I don't like this one. I
figure I'll try something different for a change. Any idea how much I could
get for it on eBay? I have the USB cable, desktop charger, holster and
extended battery plus whatever came with the phone when I bought it and is
still in great condition with the current firmware and PRL.

Re: Sanyo RL2000?
Well, I bought the RL2000 yesterday and although it is big, a lot bigger
than what I'm used to, I like it a lot. One of the things I missed most with
8100 that I had in the Samsung N400 was the speaker phone feature. What's
more is I really liked the fact that I didn't have to go out and buy another
sync cable and another charger. It would have been great if that batteries
were swappable but I guess that's too much to ask. Instead of buying the
usual holster I bought the Rivet Super Treker. My friend, who was with me
told me it look crappy and wouldn't risk it but I bought it and it is very
sturdy in my opinion.
