reusing old chargers on a680

I've recently purchased a Samsung a680 and immediately noticed the vehicle
power adapter and travel charger from my old LG5350 fit the rectangular
ports on the new a680. Are these safe to use or will I fry my new phone?
They are the LG5350 Sprint chargers purchased from the SpintPCS store.

There are two sources you should check with ... Samsung & SPCS.
