    Hi all,

I've read in this group that a few people have bought the Sanyo 4920.
could someone give us a review of this phone. I would like to find out
if the reception is as good as the 4900 was.

How does the screen look against the 4900? I'm told it's supposed to be
    quite a bit better.

Screen is as good as any as far as clarity...but it is kinda small for
    vison phone.
the 8200 has bigger brigther (perception maybe here) screen.
I think maybe the 8200 looks brighter just because it is bigger....
But you will find yourself looking at it and wondering how you got
so much info in a tiny area....

    The 4920 has a 1.6 inch screen

    The 8200 has a 1.8 inch screen

My two local SPCS stores told me they'll have the 4920 "any
day now" today. They're embarrassed because RShacks's on the same
    block have them.

I'm assuming it's the same car charger/recharger as the 4900,
    yes?

    Thanks, DGI

The charger is barrel plug type and not the edge card from the
    4900....
The 4900 charger will work on the 4920, but not vice versa..

I'm sorry, then you're saying the chargers are identical
except for the input to the phone, and that the 4920 accommodates both
    configurations?

In that case, I can give a friend my 4900 with charger, but
keep the car charger to use with the new 4920.

    Thank you, DGI
