I'm looking at getting a new phone, and trying to decide between the
Treo 650, Blackberry 7750, Blackeberry 7100t(t-mobile), and othe smart
devices.
The reviews for the 650 are all over the board, some people love it
some people hate it.
I really would like to carry around one device if possible, and the
blackberry 7750 is uncomfortable to speak on (so i've been told), plus
its odd form factor to carry around casually in a pant pocket (although
the 650 isn't much better).
The only thing I need immediatley, however, is the ability for my phone
to do GPRS when I'm traveling, either over USB or Bluetooth, is there a
list of sprint phones somewhere that have this capability?

There are no Sprint phones that I know of that do GPRS, since nearly all
print phones are CDMA and instead do 1xRTT data. The exception to this
might be the IP-A790 world phone by Samsung, but I am not sure if it
does GPRS (It does do GSM voice on the European bands, and CDMA/1xRTT
domestically).

Sorry, I don't really know the terminology. I realize now that GPRS is
for GSM. I wondering what phones will allow me to connect to the
internet through them.

There are no CDMA/GSM-GPRS combo PDAs or smartphones. It's either/or, CDMA
or GPRS. Sorry 'bout that.

Many of the problems with 650s on GPRS were caused by bad SIM cards, and if
you tune in over at the Cingular NG, you will see a discussion of what
works and what does not.

GPRS is based on GSM, not on Bluetooth or USB.
