Does anyone know if I will be able to use my Sprint phone while in Cancun
Mexico? If so, any info on rates would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: SprintPCS in Mexico
Before you go, get the Sprint Mexican plan. Saves some $s. Wait a
couple of weeks before terminating it, as you want to make sure that
all charges migrate to the US. The plan is prorated, so you need pay
for only the period you use it.

Two things. 1) I don't believe SPCS offers a "Mexico" plan anymore, at least
I didn't see it on their website. I did see a new option called Sprint PCS
International.
2) That plan only applies when is calling while *on* the SPCS network, not
while in one of the international countries.

Re: SprintPCS in Mexico
Didn't Sprint old $10 bucket of roaming minutes include some parts of
Mexico? What I do for the Carribean and Mexico is activate an old ATT
TDMA phone on a prepaid plan with the TDMA carrier in that country,
e.g. Telcel. Old ATT prepaid phones can be bought for a song off of
e-bay and are not locked. Nokias are particularly easy to reprogram
for the carrier de jour.
