Don't know if anyone had seen this PR, and was just passing it on ...
http://finance.myway.com/jsp/nw/nwdt...&date=20051208
More details on this new model can be had on Sanyo's site -
http://www.sanyo.com/wireless/handse...productID=1231 Specs on the
phone can be read @
http://www.sanyo.com/wireless/handse...0_Brochure.pdf
Appears this flip phone has got it all, considering PV, Readylink,
Speakerphone, 1.3MB Camera (with auto flash & 3 resolutions), USB cable,
rugged design, decent (not terrific) battery life & more. Only thing it
looks like it doesn't have is analog. Price on SPCS's site is $379. A bit
pricy however it does have a lot of stuff on it.

Re: Sanyo MM-7500
I have one ordered from Sprint website...I've always had good luck with
Sanyo so I hope this will continue with this new phone. I have the Samsung
A900 (the Blade) now. I bought it because it appeared so attractive, but
am trading it back in and going back to Sanyo. The Blade eats
batteries..After charging it all night, I have to charge it again by 4pm
or so or it won't last...Also the speakerphone is difficult to access and
the charging port itself is tethered to the phone and will almost
certainly break off. I'll post again when I have a chance to use the
Sanyo.

Re: Sanyo MM-7500
Could you please answer several questions regarding the blade:
1. What are you doing to drain the battery so fast? Are you surfing the web
very frequently or are you just using it as a phone for voice communication?
2. Does the Sanyo or for that matter *any Sanyo* phone have Bluetooth
capability?
3. What do you mean that the charging port is tethered to the phone?
4. Why is the speakerphone difficult to access?
Thanks in advance for your detailed responses as they may keep other folks
from making a mistake.

Re: Sanyo MM-7500
Not to butt in , but check out www.sprintusers.com and go to the
forums. They have tons of post and several reviews about the samsung a900..
Just about every post on the "blade" says the battery life is just horrible.
Most have said that even moderate usage and moderate vision surfing will
require the phones battery as only lasting half a day..
Also another good site is www.phonescoop.com , but sprint users is all
sprint baby..

Re: Sanyo MM-7500
That is a bummer!! I really had high hopes for this phone. Do any of the new
Samsung phones have Bluetooth?

Re: Sanyo MM-7500
That's too bad, as I love mine. Best reception, screen, size & Bluetooth
compared too any Sprint phone I have ever seen.
What other cool phone allows you to beam your contact list from your
computer saving hours of data entry.
I'm sure 3rd party batteries will be out soon.

Re: Sanyo MM-7500
I've also had great luck with my Blade; I simply love it. I picked up
this phone the day it came out and have yet to have a problem.
