I have seen some older posts that allude to people once having the
ability to relay mail through their PCS Vision cards. Unfortunately I
am not having so much luck with this right now, but I am unsure as if
it is the network configuration that I am using, or that they are not
allowing port 25 traffic what so ever.

Just to clear up any technical questions here is my current setup and
what I am seeing as the issue:

Sprint Network <-> Vision Card <-> Laptop Running SMTP Server <-> LAN

If I try to telnet from an out side server, to the IP address that the
wireless card currently has, on port 25, it will not work. If I telnet
to the machines local address it will work.

So there are two possibilities, my SMTP server is not binding to the IP
address of the vision card properly, or Sprint blocks it.

As a side note, the sprint people are lacking when it comes to
    understanding how the internet works.

Re: SMTP Relay With Vision Card

It's not the card. It's the mail server.

Most (isp provided) smtp servers these days are configured to simply reject
any mail relay requests outright if the connection is not originating within
their own network, regardless of whether or not you are one of their
customers and havea n account with them.

Gmail will let you relay your outgoing mail through their smtp server
regardless of the source of your internet connection. Although you will need
to configure your email client to correctly provide credientials to log into
    Gmail's smtp server.

Log into your Gmail account and read Gmail's FAQ/Instructions on how to
configure your mail client to connect their smtp server.
