I just bought a Katana phone and the battery only last for one day. I have
to charge it every night. Does anyone else have this problem?

    Thanks for any help!! Robin

You'll have to better define "for one day."

    Continuous/intermittent talking?

    Good/bad signal strength?

Keys lit up all the time? Some of the time?

    Etc.

I don't have that phone, but that is abnormal. First, are you
in a fringe area and roaming/searching for signal constantly? That
would drain your battery in a day.

If you're not roaming, check the advanced phone information
screen. See what channel you're operating on, and whether you're
jumping from channel to channel while in idle mode. That would also
drain the battery in a matter of hours (speaking from experience) and
can be fixed from the central office.

    Good luck, DGI

I've been pleased with the battery life on my 6600. I did turn
Bluetooth off. And I do charge it every night. But even an hour
conversation didn't budge the battery from three bars. Even in
    Digital Roam.

The power save methods they recommend in the manual, I've followed.
Minimum "On" time for back light, screen saver. Stuff like that.
