Sprint-to-Home feature

I recently changed my plan, and I also noticed ads on TV for the
Sprint-to-Home feature, where local calls to home are not counted against
your anytime minutes quota. I called and added the free feature to my
Fair&Flexible/Families plan. After receiving this months bill I noticed
that they didn't add the feature to my wifes' phone, resulting in me being
charged for extra "flexible" minutes over my base plan. Damn, you've got to
watch these guys every minute. I should have called back to verify that the
feature had been added to both phones, but they wore me down.
Also, the fraudulent roaming charges in Mexico from last month are still on
my new bill, along with a $23 late fee for the $600 in roaming that they
told me not to pay.

Do you have Sprint long distance service? Just curious because when I
recently bought 2 Sprint phones the Sprint store sales person signed me up
for "Sprint to Home" telling me it was free. But he assumed I had Sprint
long distance on my home land line phone. Why he would assume that I don't
know. But.. I soon learned that I was being charged $5 monthly for each
phone for the Sprint to home service. I cancelled and will just eat the $10
charge for the first month. Way tooooooo complicated to dispute. In fact my
first monthly bill was filled with charges and credits and I never was able
to comprehend the total due even when talking with CS.

No, I don't have sprint long distance on my home phone, and I didn't want to
jimmy the deal by asking at the time they set up my sprint-to-home feature.
So far, I haven't been charged extra for it, unless it's on my verizon
landline bill?

Floyd, I dropped Sprint partly because of their inflexibility. Now I'm with
Net10, a prepaid service plan that offers so much more simplicity in pricing
in my opinion. All of my connections have been good, something that I could
never say in the years I was with Sprint. Calling amounts to ten cents a
minute, text messaging is 5 cents, and if you sign up for international
calling, that is only 15 cents a minute, with no sign-up fees. You can buy
their phones inexpensively at Wal-Mart, Target, online, and other locations.
Until unlimited calling with connectivity that Net10 offers becomes an
inexpensive alternative to what carriers typically provide today, I'll never
switch back, and brother, that is the truth.

Get even with Sprint, and put Sprint 2 home on Steroids!

$$$ plan, now I am on the $29 Fair/Flex and $5 extra for Sprint 2 Home
(DO NOT SIGN UP FOR SPRINT LD OR FALL FOR THE FREE PITCH AS IT WILL MAKE
THIS DEAL NOT WORK)

This HACK works and I want to share it with everyone

Sprints commercials talk about sticking it to the man, well guess who
this sticks

You can get UNLIMITED Sprint in and out minutes by doing the following:

Step 1 Go to www.voicestick.com and sign up for the USA/Canada plan @
$19.99 or the UNLIMITED Min. GLOBAL plan @ $24.99 or the per min plan @
2 cents

Step #2 Sign up for the cheapest Sprint phone program, which is the Fair
and Flexible at $29.99, then add the new Sprint to Home program for $5.00
a month.

Step #3 When you tell the Sprint agent your “HOME” number give them your
new Voicestick home number
(Here is the trick. With Sprint to Home all calls to or from this "Home"
number are not
chargeable and they are unlimited!)

Step #4 In your account set up at voicestick.com go to the bridge set up
and put in your cell number and then go to call forwarding and set up
your cell phone number there too.

Voicestick.com is the ONLY Cellular capable voip company that has a built
in bridge, that I have found.What the bridge does is allow you to get a
new dial tone to call out on UNLIMITED VOIP (or a pay as you go plan for
2 cents a min.) When I call my new "home" Voicestick number the VOIP
company sees my caller ID and gives me a dial out tone. I then dial like
normal. (You can even program voice stick into the address book of the
phone)My person I call sees the voip number on their caller id and when
they call back to my new "home" number it forwards to my cell.

So both out going and incoming calls are now free of Sprint charges.

Options: I also bought for $30 the MG3 line adapter so I also get a
second line at my home that the kids now use.
I also downloaded the free Soft Phone so I use that too when I can't find
a good cell signal but I find a network or wireless connection (I am now
covered just about anywhere)

To sum it all up! For my $35 basic Sprint plan and the $20 for voip, I
have unlimited cell and a unlimited home phone.
