That counts as a hard-core hacker guy's ROM. :-)

A lot of the custom Sprint stuff really is just crap... I'm always annoyed
that, since it's in "ROM," you can't move some of the "Programs" menu icons to
at least collect all that stuff in a "Sprint Junk" folder or similar.

As usual you don't know what you are talking about.
The $25 fee is for tethering to a computer and does not matter if you
are connected at 1X or EVDO.
The $10 charge is for use for handset apps ONLY and is not connected
to the data speed in any way.

No we don't. However, I'm not at work so I'm free to call you a
dumbass all I want, dumbass.

I can do whatever I want here. I'm not on the clock and am not
speaking for Alltel in any capacity. I simply speak what appears to
be the truth - and it is widely acknowledged in these groups that
Larry is a dumbass.

Hi dafydd,
You have a lot of incorrect information in your post.

No. Unless you have a PAM plan on your phone (http://
support.sprint.com/doc/sp10397.xml?id16=phone_as_modem) you WILL be
charged at casual data rates for using the PAM.
Also, if you have the PAM plan this includes data for the phone. In
other words, if you have the attachment mentioned above, one does not
need an additional power vision attachment.

No. Unless you have a PAM plan on your phone (http://
support.sprint.com/doc/sp10397.xml?id16=phone_as_modem) you WILL be
charged at casual data rates for using the PAM.

More very incorrect information. If your phone is PAM capable, then
regardless of account attachments it will connect just fine when you
run DUN on your computer.
